The Adams is an American family of witches, ghosts, monsters and vampires. They live in an old house next to a cemetery. They are very polite and friendly, but visitors are scared of them.

Gomez Addams is the father. He loves exploding his trains and having baths of acid.

Morticia Addams is the mother. She always dresses in black clothes and she likes walking in the cemetery.

Their daughter, Wednesday Addams, has plaits and she doesn’t like playing with other children.

Pugsley Addams is the son. He loves machines and experiments.

Uncle Fester is Gomez’s brother. He likes illuminating light bulbs in his mouth.

Eudora is Gomez’s mum. She likes fortune-telling.

Itt is Gomez’s cousin. He is small and has orange hair.

Thing is Gomez’s best friend. It is a hand and it sleeps in a box.

Lurch is the servant. He is very tall and has blue skin.
